LEICESTER Fox Cubs youngster Caydin Martin has announced his decision to call time on his racing career.
The 15-year-old took time out of the sport recently after a tough start to the season in the National Development Trophy.
He said: “It’s been three weeks since I got off the bike and now I’ve got used to my decision as a person and as a family, and having spoken to my sponsors and clubs I can now confirm it was for the final time.
“I’ve been fortunate to live my dream since I was eight years old, been on track with past, present and future World Champions, and made friends for life in the sport I love.
“There’s been no fallout, I haven’t been treated badly (on the contrary, I’ve always been treated amazingly well everywhere I’ve been). I chose to get on the bike and I’ve chosen to get off it.”
Leicester Speedway would like to wish Caydin all the very best for the future and thank him for his time with us this season.
